LOL. But I do think that the ability to collaboratively create shared representations (e.g. a collaborative OmniGraffle) could be a way-cool learning/thinking tool.
The amusing part of the video, is that the big ass table is based upon some real technology. I saw a great presentation in a TED talk (Jeff Han): http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/65
I'm excited about what the technology could do, and amused at how it could be made totally useless!
OH Yeah! I saw the Han @ TED video. This table is very real, the editors simply took the video from Microsoft's own web site and added a new sound track and script. My favorite part is being able to put other devices on the table and the table reacts and interacts with cups, phones, pdas, cameras...very cool!
