It is unfortunate that EA made the decision to proceed with their somewhat draconian DRM strategy since it has alienated a ton of potential users. Amazon has over 1500 negative comments ( and climbing) regarding the DRM issue and most have scored it poorly as a result. This goes to show that a publisher can drastically affect a software developer, even an industry giant like Will Wright. EA gets a big "Boo!!" from this lifetime gamer and OD Specialist for basically ruining the coming out party for Spore.
