Intel lays off 1000 managers

Things are changing like crazy around here.  My hometown rags talk about it here and here.

Its one of those things that you know is coming, but you never know how its going to hit.  And its never really real until someone you know gets "the message".  Until this morning, I've been untouched and unaffected.   But that all changed when I discovered a friend had been 1 of the 1000.

Josh is right.  This is difficult and not what seasoned Intel employees are used too.   Good luck to you all.  You will be missed.
