Kodak has released its first consumer grade WiFi digital camera. At Learning2005 I will be holding a conversation with Learning Professionals on using Digital Cameras and Web2.0 technologies (blogs, wikis, RSS, etc.)
Some very cool possibilities open up when you can use a digital camera to instantly send your images across a network. Currently, if we ask our learners (factory workers) to capture images for us there is a long learning curve envolving multiple technologies: Capture the image with the camera, plug camera into computer using USB, download images from camera to computer, modify image add text and upload to webpage, or server. What a breakthrough if you can actually take a picture and then at the push of a button email it to a colleague, customer, or blog page.
There are endless possibilities.
